I'm a Forester working in tropical forests, with a special geographical focus on the Guiana Shield ecoregion.
I am currently completing a PhD program at the University of Florida, with my work focused on quantification of carbon fluxes associated with forestry activities (forest degradation under the UN-REDD+ program) and reduction of those emissions by improving logging practices, training forest workers and adoption of new technologies.
